The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is known to encourage independent and inquiry-based learning in primary students. At GIIS, our students in the PYP are encouraged to pursue self-led learning at every level - from the way they choose to arrange their classrooms and decorate the walls to the mini exhibitions held each year for Grades 1-5.

International Baccalaureates Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), is a distinct educational framework for children between the age group of 5 to 12 years. Lately, the curriculum has been popular for offering a 21^st century education and helping children develop a global outlook so that they can assimilate easily with the world at large.

Education has leaped to new highs in the 21st century - both in terms of syllabus and delivery of the syllabus. With the advent of new-age learning techniques, schools need to incorporate them into everyday teaching.
