Security of students is one of the most crucial requirements of the new SMART Campus, and thus we have dedicated ample time and resources to plan and implement safety and security protocols. The end result is a comprehensive and state-of-the-art security system that converts the building into a fortified campus. As streams of students and faculty flow through the campus, it makes sense to monitor student movement as a safeguard against anomalies. Thanks to our CCTV camera systems, we make use of crowd management analytics to keep over 3,500 students and staff moving freely around campus.
Our 21st century campus has been designed from the ground up to be a school of the future. The futuristic campus is laced with the latest technology to ensure that the campus provides fresh opportunities to students. One of such latest technology is used in secure student identification method. Students in past used various forms of paper identification cards. Today's students enjoy use of the NextGen GIIS SMART IDs, which are leagues ahead of the original by virtue of their integrated digital connection and use of biometric and facial recognition techniques. Within one or two seconds, our security features accurately recognise students' facial signatures.

A perk of biometrics-operated turnstiles, gates, etc. around campus, is that students and staff feel safe in the knowledge that the flow of the campus is well regulated. Security guards are present 24x7 and add a personal touch as people enter the campus gates. No matter where students wander on campus, all entry and exit points are controlled by our state-of-the-art surveillance systems.

Trusted Surveillance Around the Clock
In-campus movements are monitored by more than 600 CCTV cameras located throughout the campus. Artificial intelligence software identifies potential security concerns and brings them to the attention of the proper school officials.
Though the movement of our students and staff appears to flow seamlessly, this is one benefit of the more than 300 access control points that operate to ensure campus safety. With the added layer of biometric facial recognition present at over 150 of those internal access control points, our students and staff enjoy an unparalleled sense of security in their learning environment.
